Tulip Tables

Tulip TablesI’ve been wanting to post this one for a while since I have a massive crush on tulip tables.  As I’ve gawked at a lot of them, I realized there was more to it that I loved.  Space after space, I was noticing more than just the tulip tables… I was noticing the chairs they were set up with!  There are so many interesting combos, and really the seating largely dictates the style and feel of a table, but especially with something as sculptural as a tulip table, it’s seriously fascinating to me how so many different seating options work with it.  *fascinating*

Most of the tulip tables I’ve seen are all white, and that’s exactly how I like them.  I really think it helps keep the elegant shape modest while still looking striking and clean.  See for yourself, and take notice of all the different seating!

I do love the ones with marble tops the most.  One day!!!  Tulip tables seem to be a popular match for banquette seating, but you can see they really work in a lot of spaces.  I always love to know… which of these spaces speaks to you the most?

  1. I have been coveting the Saarinen dining table for ages now. Since they are so expensive I had my eye on an affordable option from CB2 which I really love and is exactly the size that I need for my dining area, the only problem is that those are constantly sold out at my local store. :) I love how versatile they are and can be added to any style home decor. Thank you for sharing these in the post.

    1. I didn’t think there could be such a thing as an affordable Saarinen! How affordable are we talking here?? I was under the impression that a 60″ one would run up at least $2500, which I’m working on justifying haha.

  2. I love these tables too, I hope to have one at some point! So fresh and sleek. My favs are #1, so glam, 3 a almost feels like a plantation vibe and 8 super luxe. Have you picked a fav?

    1. Great picks- those are at the top of my list too, especially with #3 being a Nate Berkus space ;)
My favorite, though it’s a tough choice, is #9. The leather chairs and the glam chandelier rock my world. Thank you for asking, Sarah!

    1. Yesss, I also think the coffee table would be a more affordable way to join in on this trend haha. Hope you’re having a great week so far, Aga!

    1. Oh wow, that’s gorgeous!! I’m grateful to have room for a table, but the shape of the space wouldn’t allow for a tulip table, so I’m adding this one to the “future home” list ;)

    1. It’s a cute name, huh? Glad I was able to solve that mystery for ya! I agree, the coffee table is one of my favs out of this bunch.

    1. Oh my gosh, I kind of hope I don’t come across a tulip table deal on CL anytime soon because it just wouldn’t work in my current space and it would kill me to have to turn it down. I will be seething with jealousy over your tulip coffee table <3
